This is my Pokemon hack of the Pokemon Gold Version for the Nintendo Gameboy Color.
It's not that advanced as my other Hack "Pokemon Charcoal Version", but this would be kinda
fun to play, and a bit challenging as I am modding the French version of Pokémon Gold Version.
You can emulate the rom image in VBA -M or your favorite Gameboy Color Emulator.
Not much else to say. this is just something that I hacked in my Spare time out of Boredom.

Bugs, Errors,  and Glitches:
Save Battery Corruption - If you copy the game's Save Battery file,
"Pokemon Marlboro No27 (F).sav", between your devices; the In-Game Clock might reset to another time, and can't be changed at all. (aside from restarting your game)

Other Programs that I used:

Required to play:
A PC Running Windows, MacOSX,or Linux.
The VBA-M Emulator for your Computer's Operating System.
A iPod or iPhone Running a iOS Jailbreak like: greenpois0n, with the emulator "gameboy4iPhone" installed on it via Cydia. (iOS Jailbreak of iOS 4.2.1)
Any other Mobile device that has at least a downloadable Gameboy Color Emulator in their Marketplace.
iExplorer for Mac or PC (Needed to access the iOS root, and manually add roms to the device)
An Android Phone or Tablet. (Phone is recommended; Running Android 2.3+)
So far I haven't found a decent Gameboy/Gameboy Color Emulator for the PC. So, my recommendation is to use the Visual Boy Advance GBA Emulator (VBA-M fork recommended) ; which is currently the best emulator out for all of the Game Boy systems. (Plus VBA-M has a built-in Gameshark and Code Breaker Engine)

Intro Gameplay (YouTube):

Gameshark Codes and Tricks:
Infinite Rare Candies: Buy 1 "Super Bon Bon" (Rare Candy), for 4800 Pika at a Pokémart. Reorganize your "Poche Objects" (Item Pocket) of your Bag and put the Rare Candy in the First Slot. Enter this Gameshark code: 010AB9D5 ; the Quantity should change from x1 to x10, in your bag. but it will never diminish.

Fun Facts and Trivia :
Fun Fact: I named this Hack after my favorite Brand of Cigarettes! (I actually smoke them as well, on Occassion)
Trivia: This Game isn't really rated by the ESRB. The Everyone 10+ rating, is a reference to the age of Starting Pokémon Trainers!
Fun Fact: You can use the HM Cut to cut down the Tall Grass! (Try it, it's a hidden feature in Generations 1&2; Who needs Repels, Eh?)
Fun Fact: I Rocky Lincourt am actually, the only Member of Charcoal Studios, Ltd. There's no group; I actually do everything myself. It's An Complete Hobby Craft!

Notes:
Note1: Even though you no longer need to Trade Pokémon with a Friend to complete your Pokédex, in my Rom Hack. You can use an emulator called: KiGB to Battle a Friend with the "French Region" copy of Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal and using the Time Capsule, Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow. over an TCP/IP LAN connection. [Example of a French Game ID: DMG-APSF-FRA ; Pokémon Version Jaune (Yellow). "FRA" means France. (Most Roms will have either  have "F" or "FR" in the File Name)]
